Admitting to infiltrating the "Occupy Wall Street" protest in Washington, DC's Air and Space Museum this past weekend, it is disturbing to find how open and proud a journalist could have been about his involvement in the commission of a crime.

I do see a major difference between the 1960's and 2011. In the 60's I cannot remember a journalist ever admitting to something like this.
This is demonstrates the desperation of the 'right".

Apart from demonstrating the right's desperation, it also demonstrates their stupidity. Honestly, who's stupid enough to brag about inciting violence online?
Good article, UVA. I just have a problem with the headline. If that guy can be called a journalist, I'm a Pulitzer Prize winner.

"In a post on The American Spectator Web site, Howley said he joined the rush to get past the guards "for journalistic purposes." He said he sneaked past a guard initially, and was hit with pepper spray as he ran toward an exit after he was shoved into a wall during a shoving match between a security guard and a demonstrator he characterized as a "fanatic."

After the episodes in the UK you have to wonder about the intelligence of a reporter posting a story about his crime.

He's typical of the right who think they can commit any crime and remain unscathed. Prosecutions are for the OTHER side!
