U.S. Predator drone fired on convoy outside Surt; proving the USA led this mission

Britain and France Clearly DID NOT lead this mission.
It took a bold and smart President of the USA to pull this off.

Now that the details are coming through, we can say with certainty the Republicans in our Congress are incompetent, intransigent, and uninformed on both world and military matters.

Thanks to President Obama and the US Military, that together is obviously a notable and effective team.

No Republicans ... Great Britain nor France led this mission.
It is clear they didn't even know where the target was.

According to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, its aircraft struck two pro-Kadafi military vehicles about 8:30 a.m. in “the vicinity of” Surt. But NATO did not specify whether the target was the same convoy as the one carrying Kadafi.

Yeah ... because the reports out this morning confirm it was the US Intelligence that had the target pinned down for several days, and it was a US Drone smoked Kaddafi out.

The USA led this all the way ... throughout the mission.

THE US provided technical support in the form of drones and other air support from what I understand. I don't think we had any real boots on the ground. (not many anyway if any)

And the US has done more to remove and eliminate bad dictators and terrorists under obama than they ever did under dumbya and limpdick cheney. bin Laden, alqueda's top guys and now Kaddafi. bush let bin laden GO at tora bora. So much for that dead or alive crap he prated after 9/11!

Yes, this is true .... but it is also the kind of military mission the US Military has been pleading the White House and Congress for over many years.

Only a very smart and independent President could move us into the 21st Century so decisively.

A NATO official said the convoy was hit either by a French plane or a U.S. Predator drone.

Two miles west of Sirte, 15 pick-up trucks mounted with machine guns lay burned out, smashed and smoldering next to an electricity substation 20 meters from the main road.
