On Friday, Fleischer told ThinkProgress he had no involvement in the crisis communications effort.

In an email sent to ThinkProgress after the publication of our story, Fleischer claimed our entire report was “inaccurate,” “unfair,” and “simply false” because it created the implication that he was involved with Komen’s strategy in recent days.

Today, ThinkProgress asked Fleischer to explain his email now that he’s acknowledged he personally advised Komen’s CEO on Planned Parenthood strategy in January and February.

Do they have NO shame, No conscious???

That would be an "affirmative" ...

But it certainly shows how they operate ....
"We had nothing to do with it ....... But we were involved in it" ....

Yeah, more classic right wing Double speak. They are masters at it. No wonder they prey on the Low Information crowd.

I guess it's natures way; for predictors to seek out the weak.

Well Komen has forever damaged themselves. These righties as so pissed that the country won't fall in line with their Leave It To Beaver idealism, they're pushing politics into EVERYTHING!

It is really interesting to see how they function .... getting George Bush's former Press Secretary to advise the Komen infiltrators on spinning the truth, and then fumbling like they have always done!

As for why he objected to ThinkProgress’ initial report — which now appears to have understated the true scope of his inovlvement — Fleischer said it failed to get the “emphasis right.”

Yeah right... Nice spin Ari.

The damage is done. When in the hell will these organizations quit listening to the GOP. They will never learn that the smart people will never fall in line with the GOP.. Only the idiots and nutjobs follow the GOP. By the way GOP and Komen thanks for helping the Planned Parenthood organization out. There are getting more contribution than they ever had. Run your damn mouth more because PP could use some more money.

Oh, great. The Komen foundation let a man who was prominent in politics get involved from the beginning.

No wonder it is a total mess.

Who does he think he is? And for that matter who was the one in charge who allowed him any say so to begin with.

This is positive proof that by including him this was political from the start, no matter how many denials they put out.

Comedy. The guy who stood in front of America peddling yellowcake and mushroom clouds is embarrassed to have his name connected to the Komen cluster&#ck. And who can blame him?

Ari Fleischer—former George Bush flack and the public face of selling the war in Iraq—is distancing himself from it as fast as he can .... just as he did when we found out there was NO WMD in Iraq.

“They ask me stuff, they say, `What do you think about this statement, about that statement,’" Fleischer told me. “And I give them my thoughts. But obviously somebody else was leading their PR efforts. It certainly wasn’t me.”

Oh ....!!!!

Just own it Ari! You did this same tap-dance before Dick Cheney fired you!
And that's really saying something!

Why do so many liberals defend an organization that was founded on such racist, genocidal views?

Not really familiar with the history of planned parenthood are you? Hers a few quotes from Margaret Sangar.

    On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
"...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people.

    On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial "purification," couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization.

On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities:
"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control.

    On the extermination of blacks:
"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population

On respecting the rights of the mentally ill:
In her "Plan for Peace," Sanger outlined her strategy for eradication of those she deemed "feebleminded." Among the steps included in her evil scheme were immigration restrictions; compulsory sterilization; segregation to a lifetime of farm work

    On abortion:
"Criminal' abortions arise from a perverted sex relationship under the stress of economic necessity, and their greatest frequency is among married women.

"The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." Margaret Sanger.

That's what the founder of Planned Parenthood wanted, pretty great huh?

So, PP's current mission is to exterminate the negro population?

Going off this chart from the Wash Post website, they seem to be going about this "extermination" by employing the odd strategy of using 86% of their services to treat STDs, provide contraception and screen for cancer.

Thats great Brian, www.dictionary .com, found(ed).

The fact remains, Planned parenthood was born under the control of a racist, genocidial, evil person.

She did a lot to promote womens rights but does that outweigh her views on wanting to promote light skinned americans at the expense of blacks and immigrants? Sounds Hitlerish to me.

From an African or Native American point of view weren't the founders of this nation racist and genocidal? Do you defend this nation, cannonballer?
